A2 Abd El Monim, born Alan Abd El Monim, is an Italo-Egyptian artist and composer. His identity represents a meeting point between two worlds, two profoundly different cultural traditions. On one side, the African root of the Arabic language, with its historical and spiritual richness; on the other, the European root of the Neo-Latin language, imbued with modernity and rationalism. He embodies the fusion of these two cultures, a bridge that unites different languages, experiences, and values.
A2 Abd El Monim expresses himself through musical creation, which ranges from electronic to purely instrumental music, and through the interaction between the arts. His music has been performed at various national and international festivals such as Musica d’Arte (Riccione - Italy), Luci d’Artista (Salerno - Italy), GAMO (Florence - Italy), Spazio Musica (Cagliari - Italy), Caustico lunare (Bologna - Italy), On Air – On Site (The Hague - Netherlands), Sound Spaces (Malmö - Sweden), etc.
